Begin your journey in Madrid and brace yourself to uncover the wonders of Barcelona aboard a high-speed train. In just 2.5 hours, the cosmopolitan Catalan city beckons, inviting you to explore and admire its architectural and cultural gems.

Upon arrival, an expert guide will lead you in unveiling Barcelona’s hidden treasures and iconic landmarks. Start your day with a brief transfer to Drassanes, from where you’ll then relish the sea breeze at Barcelona’s harbor, where urban life meets Mediterranean serenity.

From there, embark on a walking tour through The Gothic Quarter. Feel the past come alive as you wander through the labyrinthine streets of the neighborhood, with every corner revealing ancient stories and secrets. Along the way, you will visit Plaza Real, a stunning square full of lively atmosphere and beautiful architecture. You’ll also explore Plaza Sant Jaume, the political heart of the city, and step inside MUHBA (the Museum of Ancient Ruins of Barcelona) to admire fascinating ancient ruins. After, you’ll have free time to enjoy lunch on your own.

Then, the tour takes you down the illustrious Passeig de Gràcia, where masterpieces like Casa Batlló and La Pedrera await your admiration. Dive into history and art as you stand in awe of the Sagrada Familia, Antoni Gaudi’s unfinished masterpiece. There, your guide will share intriguing facts about the monument as you marvel at its exterior and enjoy free time to take the best pictures. 07:25h – Departure from Madrid to Barcelona
10:00h – Arrival to Barcelona and transfer to Drassanes
10:30h – Walking tour through The Gothic Neighborhood (Visit Plaza Real, Plaza Sant Jaume and step inside
the Museum of Ancient Ruins of Barcelona)
12:30h – Walking tour in the Born Neighborhood and Catedral del Mar
13:30h – Free time for lunch
15:00h – Walking tour around Passeig de Gracia & coffee break
16:30h – Transfer to Sagrada Familia
16:45h – Sagrada Familia visit
18:15h – Transfer to Sants Station
18:55h – Way back to Madrid

Conditions

• Please, be at the check in point 20 minutes before departure time.
• Not wheelchair accessible.
• There is a minimum of people required to operate the tour. In the event that this minimum is not met, customers will be offered an alternative date, another tour of equal or superior value, or a full refund.
• It's essential to arrive well in advance of the train's departure time. The train's departure is fixed and will not wait for delayed passengers. If you fail to arrive on time, you will unfortunately miss the entirety of the tour, and no refund will be provided. We recommend planning with ample margin to avoid any inconvenience.
• Full name of each passenger and Passport/ID number is mandatory to confirm the booking.
• This experience is done with self-check-in, so you must go to the train station and board directly with the train tickets that we will previously share with you.
• The departure time will be coordinated on trains between 07:00 am and 08:00 am. Please provide a valid telephone number to contact you at least 48 hours before the experience to complete the pre-check in process.
• Not recommended for travelers with back problems
• No heart problems or other serious medical conditions
• The route of this tour is not designed for people in wheelchairs or mobility challenges. In each city visited, a walking tour is carried out, with inclined climbs and stairs, which may affect the itinerary of the activity
• If you are unable to keep up with the group during the walking tours, for health or mobility reasons, our guide will determine a meeting point in each city and provide the client with free time, returning to pick up the client for departure.
