However, sometimes you have no other option but to do a quick tour in Barcelona and make the most of it whilst you can. For example, if you’re visiting on a cruise, if you have a stopover for an international flight or if you’re doing a tour of Europe.
That’s what our Barcelona Express City Tour is for, allowing you to discover the city’s tourist spots in just 2 hours. Keep reading to find out more.
The Barcelona Express City Tour route
Our tour starts at the World Experience shop (Calle Montjuic del Bisbe, 3), in the heart of historic Barcelona. You’ll find us there with an experienced local guide who will accompany you on a walking tour of the Gothic Quarter to the inspiring Gothic cathedral, discovering charming hidden spots like the Sant Felip Neri church and the Templo de Augusto.
The experience continues towards the famous Plaza Catalunya, where we will hop on a luxury private convertible minibus. We will cruise down the Paseo de Gracia, where you’ll find some of the city’s most symbolic modernist buildings, like Casa Battló and La Pedrera.
At the end of Paseo de Gracia, at the top of Palau Robert and Casa de les Punxes, we will turn onto Diagonal, one of Barcelona’s most famous avenues. Later on, we will pass the Arco del Triunfo, Ciutadella Park, Paseo Marítimo promenade and Plaza Monumental.
We will finish at the Sagrada Familia, Antoni Gaudí’s most famous work and Barcelona’s most iconic symbol. Here, you will be able to see the facades of the Sagrada Familia and learn the meaning behind them which is full of details, mysteries and interesting facts. This is where the 2-hour tour will end, although our guide will always be open to questions and will recommend ways you can carry on your tour.
