This tour kicks off with a 2.5 hrs. guided walk through the vibrant center of Malaga, where you’ll visit key highlights and learn about the city’s rich history. Stroll around bustling squares and narrow streets, soaking up the local culture and heritage. From the city’s heart, a private vehicle will take you to the top of Gibralfaro Castle. Here, enjoy breathtaking panoramic views of Malaga and the coast, a perfect spot for understanding the strategic military importance of the site throughout history.

Continue your adventure by winding down the castle’s ancient walls to the Alcazaba, an impressive fortress that stands as a testament to Malaga’s Moorish past. Explore the intricately decorated Palacio Nazarí within the Alcazaba, noting its beautiful arches and ornate courtyards that highlight Moorish architectural brilliance. Built in the same era as the Palacio Nazarí of the Alhambra in Granada, you will observe remarkable similarities between the two, reflecting their shared heritage and architectural splendor.

The final stop of this tour takes you to Malaga’s bustling port, where you’ll board a catamaran for a cruise along the city’s coastline. The cruise offers a relaxing end to a day filled with exploration and discovery.

10:00 – Starting of the experience with a walking tour in Malaga Old Town
11:00 – Departure to Gibralfaro Castle
11:15 – Arrival in Gibralfaro and visit
11:45 – Arriving in Alcazaba and visit
12:30 – Guide farewell in the Malaga Port and free time
14:30 – Catamaran trip along Malaga’s coast – 1hr.
