Oliva – This is a small town located in the south of Alicante that is known for its beautiful beaches and historic center. It has a charming old town with narrow streets, traditional houses, and a range of historic buildings. 

Altea –  This beautiful town is located in the north of Alicante and is known for its beautiful beaches, historic center, and stunning sea views. It has a charming old town with narrow cobbled streets, white-washed houses, and a range of restaurants and bars. 

Villajoyosa – This is a small coastal town located in the southeast of Alicante that is known for its beautiful beaches, colorful houses, and historic center. It has a charming old town with narrow streets, traditional houses, and a range of historic buildings. 

 

 

Not only villages, but Alicante is also full of incredible beaches. 

Here you can find some of the most famous and beaches that must be visited:

Playa del Postiguet – This beach is located in the heart of Alicante and is considered one of the best urban beaches in the area. It is a wide, sandy beach that is perfect for families and children. There are plenty of restaurants and bars nearby, and it is easily accessible by public transport.

San Juan Beach – This is the largest and most popular beach in Alicante, stretching over 7 kilometers. It has finde golden sand and crystal-clear waters, making it a great place to swim or sunbathe. There are many facilities available, including restaurants, bars, and sports facilities.

La Granadella beach – This beach is located in Jáves, a small town in the north of Alicante. It is a beautiful and secluded cove with crystal-clear waters and stunning scenery. The beach is surrounded by pine trees and cliffs, making it a great place to explore.

Cala Moraig – This is another hidden gem located in Benitachell, a small town in the north of Alicante. The beach is surrounded by cliffs and has crystal-clase waters, making it a great place for snorkeling or diving. It is a bit of a hike to get to the beach, but it is well worth the effort. 

Cala Ambolo – This is another beautiful cove located in Jávea. It is a secluded beach with a stunning scenery, a great place to explore or relax. 

 

 

Cala el Portet – Located on the Moraira coast, it’s a large beach with calm and clear waters, close to restaurants and options to do water sports, snorkeling and a variety of activities.

Racó del Conill– Located in Villajoyosa, the secluded beach of Racó del Conill is still a secret for most people. This small and paradisiacal corner surrounded by pine trees is one of the most beautiful beaches in Alicante, but also one of the most unknown. A good option is reaching it by walking the Coastal Path, which runs along the cliffs from Playa del Torres. A path to enjoy every step and cool off at the end in the crystal clear waters of this beach full of vegetation and naturist atmosphere.

Isla de Tabarca – Discover the island of Tavarca, full of turquoise water beaches. It’s only 8km away from Santa Pola pier and it’s an archipelago composed in addition of 3 small islands.
