DAY 1

Start your day by visiting the Belem neighborhood, located on the western edge of the city. Here you can see the iconic Belem Tower, Jeronimos Monastery, and the Monument to the Discoveries.

Head to the Alfama neighborhood, one of the oldest and most traditional neighborhoods in Lisbon. Stroll around the narrow streets and alleyways, and visit the Lisbon Cathedral and St. George’s Castle for stunning views of the city.

End your day in the Bairro Alto neighborhood, known for its vibrant nightlife and delicious restaurants. Try some traditional Portuguese dishes and enjoy some live music in one of the many bars and clubs.

 

DAY 2

Visit the historic Baixa neighborhood, where you can see the iconic Rossio Square and the Elevador de Santa Justa, a unique elevator that takes you to the top of the hill for panoramic views of the city.

Take a tram or bus to the Belvedere of San Pedro de Alcantara, a beautiful garden with stunning views of the city. Then, head to the trendy Chiado neighborhood, known for its designer shops and trendy cafes.

Enjoy a Fado performance, a traditional Portuguese music genre, in one of the many Fado houses in the Alfama neighborhood.

 

DAY 3

Visit the Parque das Nacoes neighborhood, located on the eastern edge of the city, and home to the impressive Vasco da Gama Bridge and the Oceanario de Lisboa, one of the largest aquariums in Europe.

Take a short train ride to the nearby town of Sintra, a UNESCO World Heritage site known for its beautiful palaces and gardens. Visit the Pena Palace and the Quinta da Regaleira, and explore the beautiful town center.

End your day by enjoying a sunset at the Miradouro de Santa Luzia, a beautiful terrace with stunning views of the Alfama neighborhood and the Tagus River.
