Costa Brava – The Costa Brava is a rugged and rocky coastline with crystal-clear waters, small bays, and hidden coves. It is a popular destination for water sports, hiking, and exploring medieval towns and villages. Some of the most popular places to visit in Costa Brava include; 

Tossa de Mar – A picturesque medieval town located in the lower part of Costa Brava. It is famous for its walled old town, sandy beaches, and turquoise waters. The town is also home to the stunning Vila Vella fortress, which dates back to the 14th century. 

Cadaqués – Cadaqués is a charming fishing village located on Cap de Creus. It is known for its whitewashed houses, narrow streets, and stunning sea views. The town is also famous for its connections to artists such as Salvador Dalí, who lives in the nearby town of Portlligat.

Aiguablava & Sa Tuna – Small fishing villages,  picturesque beaches and turquoise waters. Surrounded by cliffs and pine forests which offer plenty of opportunities for hiking and exploring.

Calella de Palafrugell & Llafranc – Small towns one next to each other surrounded by incredible small beaches, rocky cliffs and pine forests. Both are a popular spot for swimming, sunbathing and enjoying the scenic views. 

Pals, Peratallada & Begur – These villages have well-preserved ancient walls, narrow streets, and a unique charm that makes them worth exploring. 

Illes Medes & Cap de Creus – Both natural parks that are home to diverse wildlife, including birds, reptiles, and mammals. These parks offer plenty of opportunities for hiking, cycling, and birdwatching.

Costa Brava is also a foodie’s paradise, with its Mediterranean cuisine, fresh seafood, and local wines. Some of the must-try dishes include paella, fresh anchovies, and suquet de peix (a fish stew). The region is also home to several Michelin-starred restaurants, including El Celler de Can Roca in Girona.

 

 

Sitges – It is a popular seaside resort located in the south of Barcelona. It is known for its beaches, lively nightlife, and cultural events, including the Sitges Film Festival and the Carnaval de Sitges. 

Costa Daurada – Costa Daurada is a beautiful coastal region located in the province of Tarragona, in the northeastern part of Spain. Here are some of the highlights of the best beaches you can find in Costa Daurada.

Playa de la Mora – This Blue Flag beach is located in the town of Tamarit and is known for its stunning views of Tamarit Castle. It has fine sand and calm waters, making it perfect for families with children. 

Playa del Torn This secluded beach is located in the town of Hospitalet de l’Infant and is known for its clear waters and natural setting. It is a nudist beach, but there is a section for clothed beachgoers as well.

Cala Fonda – Also known as Waikiki Beach, this secluded cove is located in the town of Tarragona and is accessible only by foot. It is known for its crystal-clear waters and natural setting. 

 

 

 

Focusing not only on beaches, Costa Daurada is a region really known for its wine tourism. It is part of the Penedès region, which is known for its world-class wines, including Cava. The region is home to many wineries, some of which offer tours and tastings.
