1. We know that we don't think about it until the decorations are put up in the street, but try to do it in good time.

We’ve all been there: thinking we still got enough time to get ideas and prepare everything, until it’s already too late and we still have nothing… neither an idea, nor anything prepared.

Therefore, take a lot of time beforehand so you can think everything through and make sure that all is realizable.

That doesn’t mean you have to plan for your Christmas Dinner already in summer, but it wouldn’t hurt anybody to do so either, right?

Just keep in mind, that you are not the only one celebrating a Christmas Dinner and that venues, catering etc. may be already fully booked. Here applies first come, first served.

1. We know that we don't think about it until the decorations are put up in the street, but try to do it in good time.

2. The secret santa and a dinner in a nice place are ok... but what if we think about something more special?

Of course, just having Dinner with your colleges and employees can result in a nice evening. But make it a little bit more special. Live music or a DJ so the people can dance, candy bar to satisfy the sweet tooth of the guest, photo booth or disposable cameras to have some funny memories of the evening, presents for every guest they can take home…

There are no limits to creativity and your guest will thank you for an unforgettable evening!

3. It's a Christmas event, and it has to look like one! Choose the right decorations

What would be Christmas without lights and decorations? The place has to reflect the festive atmosphere to get everyone into the Christmas spirit. Set up lights, maybe even a tree, and choose the right colors for the decoration.

Red, gold, and green are the classic ones and you can’t do anything wrong with them.

4. If there is one thing that convinces even the most hardened corporate party-goers... it's the food. Don't miss it!

The most important thing in planning a dinner is the food. It doesn’t only have to taste good, but it also has to appeal to most of your guests, if not everyone. Try to find something that matches most of the tastes of your guest and offer a variety of different dishes. Ask around in the office to try to find out about allergies or eating habits and try to include them into your menu. Moreover, offering vegetarian or vegan alternatives is always a good thing, just as offering alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.

Hey! And one of the most important tips of all time.... It's OK to ask for help

If you follow these tips and keep a calm head, nothing will go wrong! Just start early enough with planning so countermeasures can be taken if something does not work out as it should. And remember you don’t have to do everything on your own.

Asking for help is perfectly fine. Otherwise, there are agencies like us who will be happy to help you with your next Christmas dinner. No doubt, the planning and organization of a dinner (especially for a big group) can be demanding in time and overwhelming without experience in this field.

So, ask colleagues, friends, or family to support you or hire an agency like us, so you can lay back and relax while we take care of everything.
